“The exterior of the Audi Elaine concept car debuted just a few months ago with the Audi e-tron Sportback design study and technology demonstrator at the Auto Shanghai in China. The #Audi #Elaine Concept Car enlists several functions that push the envelope of piloted driving and assistance systems. In a few years, they will extend the scope of Audi #AI based on the zFAS controller in the concept car’s rear. The drive is configured similar to future production models with all-electric drive: one electric engine is located on the front axle, while there are two in the back to ensure rear power.
Audi Elaine continiously supports the driver after leaving the highway and multilane urban freeways behind. All of the usual driver assistance systems are included, including pre-sense safety technologies and the predictive efficiency assistant that can be fed with with more precise route details from the HERE navigation data.
