Rock Crushing SRT 6.4L HEMI Jeep Wrangler Preview

( http://www.TFLcar.com ) If you thought that the only way to purchase a Jeep Wrangler was with a V6…you’d be wrong. In this preview video Nathan and Roman test a SRT Jeep Wrangler. They test a Jeep Wrangler with the 470 HP SRT 6.4L HEMI engine up one of the steepest Jeep trails on the TFLcar test turf. That’s right the same engine that’s in the SRT Jeep Grand Cherokee and Challenger transplanted into the Wrangler.

My Honda Civic could do that…

Mario K says:

That really sounds awesome!

Al Fu says:

Diesel may be better, there would be more torque. Plus, I like the sound of the Diesel engine better as well.

Thats still the same price though -_-

Scott Beglinger says:

80-90k for a wrangler…pretty beast

bmwmsport11 says:

Was the 6.4 really needed in a Wrangler? Less trail time since the 6.4 would drink less gas. Also for atleast $80,000 it isn’t worth it. I could buy a $30,000 Rubricon, put $10,000 into mods, and spend the other $40,000 for a slightly used Charger SRT8. That way you have the best of both worlds.

The Fast Lane Car says:

Yes, this is just the preview. Part one is coming tomorrow.

10K barely covers a nice lift and set of 37″ tires and wheels… If you’re doing it right.

randomclam8ownz says:

and the most expensive, and the slowest

soufang says:

except for the fact that a Charger SRT8 is the worst of the three muscle cars.

Sulz says:

Should we expect a longer version video of this beast? 2 minutes is way too short!

Patrick says:

Don’t get much better than that

Garrett Henry says:

please don’t

Chrismzeller says:

So cool that a mainstream car channel can show real Jeeps! But do pass along to the folks at Pollard that for best off road performance it is suggested to air down the tires. The green jeep with less upgrades did a better job up Fireman hill. A V8 hemi is cool but probably not a benifit until you get to 42″ tires. Now a stock disel wrangler would be a sure winner.
Great videos guys!

Tzunamicircus says:
