2014 Cadillac CTS Infotainment Review – Cadillac CUE

If you recall my last look at Cadillac CUE, I came away less than impressed with the software. Thankfully GM has continued to tweak and update CUE and my latest week with the system was a marked improvement with no crashes or crazy touchscreen possessions. Join me as I look at CUE in the 2014 Cadillac CTS 2.0T and see how it stacks up against BMW’s iDrive and Mercedes’ COMAND.

It’s pretty laggy..

Mohammad AlSaeed says:

What’s your judgement on practicality and usability of CUE while driving?

sendthosepixma says:

My cue system beeps when I’m driving and the radio is on. Only does it then and not when I have music playing from my ipod or phone. What causes this?

Sheila LaShay says:

I have this car and no problems with anything. It’s a tablet that you swipe with layers of functions. You can customize the car to suit your taste. And yes it gives voice commands.

OneOfOne says:

but he doesnt give any voice commands. fail

Naveed Ahmed says:

does v sport have wifi

Hock Sing Ng says:

Why can’t car manufacturers match tablet manufacturers and ensure the interface is responsive with a powerful enough processor? Even basic Nexus 7 is way more responsive than that. I’m sure it’s even more important for the car MMI to be responsive for the driver than tablets for normal users. Why not just partner tablet manufacturers to design and make the interface with an audio supplier?

darkpill says:

Looks just as shitty as it’s always been.  And why is it showing the same song twice!?!

Scott Walper says:

have new xts and this is an excellent touch system….very easy to use…it works just like an I phone or tablet

David Lee says:

A little sluggish???

Reina Khadour says:

is this the same as the Cadillac cts 2013?

Rick Jacoby says:

If yours is laggy you must need a software update. The loaner car cadillac gave me has absolutely no perceivable lag except when using pinch to zoom in and out. I prefer using the zoom button anyway. I love this system and wish it was in my ctsv. Audi MMI and IDrive I was never impressed with. The integration of my iPhone into the system is flawless not to mention into the gauge cluster. Wonderful system.

Rick Jacoby says:

I love the cue system. Don’t agree that BMW Idrive if better. Never liked idrive.
