nothing special from the older escalade except better seats…and that can be retrofitted 😀
I can say for the first time the 2018 Navigator is better than the escalade by far. The navigator takes and beats the Escalade.

Desired upgrades: 6.2 liter V-8 vortec with a supercharger or a twin turbo option coupled with the new 10 speed automatic transmission on the Platinum level. Dual exhaust with chrome rectangular tips built in to the lower rear bumper. Upper and lower glove compartments. Armrests storage compartments. More Jesus bars for Granny. Panoramic sunroof in addition to front row sunroof. Brembo rotor/calipher/brake pad package on both front and rear tires with the Platinum level. Shifter on dashboard face, even though the current steering column shifter does create increased interior ambient space. Auto up/down for ALL windows. Open/close button for tailgate window, just like the tailgate operation. On ESV models, ESV emblem/lettering on passenger side tailgate, in addition to the ESCALADE emblem/lettering on the driver’s side tailgate. Bring back the louvers/fins on the fenders found on the previous generation. A chrome gas cover. Michelin, Yokohama or Goodyear tires. Bridgestone tires are sub par. Step up(built in steps on) rear bumper corners. Rubber floor/cargo mats with distinguished Cadillac emblem and/or lettering. Stainless steel piping/cooling lines for oil cooler radiator, transmission cooler radiator, power steering pump/radiator, transmission cooler radiator, fuel lines, brake lines, vent lines, A/C lines, ect… AC Delco Battery, 840 CCA with 145 RC. Heaviest duty alternator. Maybe, a Duramax diesel option for the aforementioned flagship. Step it up, tight ass GM brass.

Really disappointing Cadillac still lacks of having front LED turn signals. When the rest of the vehicle has them, it really becomes a saddening view to see the stunning LEDs paired with the non luxurious standard turn indicators. This probably isnt that much a deal for some, but you gotta wonder, for all that money its valued at, you would think especially for a model year of 2018, when the technology has been readily available for some time now, why not make every light on the car LED?

The rear side windows design makes it look like a funeral car. If they could give it a straight boxy pillar instead of a sloped one it would look basic and and different also if they could make the window a bit smaller and give it a trim before connecting on the rear tail lights it would by far eliminate that look.
This is my absolute dream car I promise on my life I will get this car one day
