John Davis says:

love the video. thanks and congrats on the new brand

2 Train Productions says:

I don’t like the Cadillac SRX. The XT5 is better.

A E says:

woof i like hairy guys

Alonefire says:

So the dealership still doesn’t have the sti yet?

Car Confections says:

The XT5 is a newcomer in a crowded segment. Good news for Cadillac, it’s second only to the well-known Lexus RX sales-wise which is quite the accomplishment! What do you guys think about the XT5? Would you pick this American luxury crossover over the Japanese and German competitors?

MJC says:

Seemed like allot of sun glare off the gages

Cedric M says:

Anyone else notice Mr. Pray Mantis near the side mirror? hehe

Mitchell Pritsker says:

I don’t like the electronic shifter that they put on the XT5, Lacrosse, Bolt, and same with all BMW models except the BMW X1 with just the regular shifter but other BMW models have an electronic shifter.

PunxsutawneyDave says:

Guys, I have a question for my favorite car gurus. When operating the joystick style shifter, did you find it awkward to use? I’ve heard many people suggest they’d prefer a traditional shift lever.

Mitchell Pritsker says:

The gauges look old just like the SRX and the XT5.

Matthew's Car Corner says:

Nice review Car Confections! This is a huge improvement over the old SRX by adding more features, and being more modern looking which resembles other Cadillac products.

Jordan Little says:

You know this class of vehicles is a tough market. The lease on my mom’s 2015 Nissan Murano is ending soon and whatever we lease next we’ll probably end up buying. Three days ago me and my dad spent the whole day visiting dealerships. She really wants an Infiniti QX80 or Cadillac Escalade but those SUVS are just way too far out of the price range and they’re just way too big of a car for US since it’ll just be her and my dad since I’ll be heading to college in 2 years. I want something nice, sporty, and compact/midsize like the Jaguar F pace. But the new BMW X3 is coming out soon. Not to mention there’s the Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, Lincoln MKX, and Mercedes GLC. I’m sure there’s a couple others I’m forgetting, but the Cadillac XT5 is definitely I top pick for my parents. They both like the styling and I have to say it looks amazing. My dad also likes that it’s an NA 6 cylinder and not a turbo 4 like all of the other crossovers. You always think of Cadillac and Lincoln as the wannabe luxury brands since American cars for a time were crap. Honestly the XT5 shatters that stereotype and I really hope we choose that.

JUHYUN PARK says:

Not a fan of exterior especially front end. Lexus is way more attractive. But interior is pretty impressive
