Wayne Taylor Racing’s Jordan Taylor takes you through an insightful technical tour of his new Cadillac DPi-V.R prototype ahead of its debut in the 2017 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
The 6.2-liter V8-powered rocket, dressed in the team’s patented black livery, is a stunner inside and out.

since when did Cadillac start participating in the Rolex 24?
Those wheels are hideous.
Jordan congrats and you are the man. I watched you and your bro grew up behind the wheel. You are the bright future of sports car racing in America.
Cool video, thanks for making this.
I wonder if it sounds great, sounds very American?
Awesome job Jordan! Thank you for the walk-around. Can’t wait for the 24!!
Great walk-around! Thanks Jordan!
Interesting. Now catching up with the 1989 Group C Mercedes/Sauber C9. Went from tube frame to a “carbon tub” (C9). The general aero profile is C9. Cadillac is 600hp vs. C9 was 750hp from 5.0L detuned from 900hp for endurance racing; full disclosure C9 was dual-turbos. Hit 248mph at end of LeMans straightaway in ’89, which is why there is now a Chicane at the end of that straight, at LeMan, i.e. to slow down the C9 and subsequent high speed racers.
how a brand like caddi do to build a lmp2/dpi proto from “nothing” ?
Great job, Jordan. Good luck!
Where is the website? racer.com no work 4 me. ;-(
thanks
“Sounds american”. Such an american thing to say…
Nice looking car. Looking forward to see what Max Angellelli can do with this car in his final Rolex 24. Taylor racing has been close in recent years.
“You have to maintain within 10 degrees of ambient temperature”
uhhhhm… ****ing WHY IMSA? WHAT PURPOSE DOES THAT RULE POSSIBLY SERVE?! Drivers deserve a nice comfy 70 degree cockpit, not some sweltering 85 degree BS on a hot day or “freezing their nipples” when its cold out. WHY do drivers have to suffer because of some arbitrary rule? COME ON.
why the air conditioning
Which category is this racing in? LMP1, 2 or 3???
My favorite team with the new car !!
See you at road america and i wish the best for you guys !
Freezing my nipples
Look forward to seeing that thing tear it up on the track
When Jordan races, the steering wheel display just shows a picture of Senna looking focused. Nothing else.
Love these techy videos! Please do these video for all of the DPi and also the GTLM cars!!
p.s. Can someone tell me the different between the M6 GTLM and GTD? visually they look the same!
iRacing needs this car
