2013 Jaguar XJ & XJL AWD First Look

( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Jaguar XJ and XJL will for the first time be available in all-whee-drive come 2013. In this video we take a closer and more technical look at the new AWD XJ and XJL to see how Jaguar engineers added all weather traction to the car lines most luxurious model. At the preview for the 2013 model Dave had a chance to chat with one of the engineers responsible for the development of the new all-wheel-drive system. Way to go Jaguar! AWD is the way to go for many different climates. I’ve been buying Subaru’s as bad weather cars for years because they were the only ones offering a good AWD system. Having owned so many AWD cars over the years I’ve learned that even in the good weather on dry clear roads the AWD can help maintain traction better than a RWD or FWD vehicle.

If you read it correctly, the description clearly states that it is the first time AWD has been offered to the the car lines most luxurious model. The X-Type was their entry model AWD car.
