2016 Toyota Prius Review

The 2016 Toyota Prius is the forth generation of this iconic car. The all-new Toyota Prius hybrid is longer, wider and lower built on an all-new global architecture. This provides a more sophisticated ride, better handling and improved fuel economy. The 2016 Toyota Prius is a mid-sized hatchback with room for 5-pasengers and loaded with all kinds of new tech including advanced safety features and in-car comfort features like wireless smartphone charging. Toyota hopes this new Prius will also appeal to non hybrid owners.

Wayne T says:

Fucking russians

777heiress says:

I hate the design when I saw this visually, but I adored it when I saw in person myself.
You have to see in person, its way better actually.

Dominic Wise says:

oh Jesus Christ its even more ugly than the old prius!

Dylan sirmans says:

this is gay

VoltecRules says:

So buy a new 2016 Volt, drive less than 53 miles per day (the battery range), drive every day for a year (365 days) then divide it by the number of gallons of gas automatically burned by the Chevy Volt per year (8 gallons burned to keep the gas fresh). 53miles x 365 days / 8 gallons = 2,418 mpg. Do you typically drive less than 53 miles per day? Most people do. 2,418 mpg driving normally in a $22,195 Chevy Volt. How does your Prius compare? Remember the Volt can be charged with a plug or never charged at all. The Volt can even rapidly charge its own battery using its gas generator, while you drive! So amazing. So fast to.

naifsexy says:

waste of tech on that ugly design

51317 says:

I didn’t mind the Prius from 2000 up to 2014. But the 2015 and 2016 designs are so ugly. The lights on the front and back make it seem as they were in some sort of accident. I’ve seen many of these in SF and they look worse in person. Every time I see one, I give the drivers a disgusting face as I drive by.

todd baker says:

Zack the one you were driving at the beginning of the video shows black leather seating. What trim level was that Prius?

Stevles says:

Looks somewhat “futuristic” until I remember that this is actually what every car is going for these days. Think I must be getting old.. By the way, what the HELL is with that ridiculously shit gear stick? Looks like something a chick would use during one of her “heavy flow” days.

maplefreak64 says:

This design was doubted until I saw the real thing, too.
But the chance to see the real thing recently was increased and completely familiar.
A style of Low center of gravity looks sporty.

Honesty Counts says:

I was on the fence between getting a Toyota Prius and the new Hyundai Ioniq hybrid. That is when I discovered that it is faults in the hybrid battery that usually kill a hybrid car, because the cost of battery replacement is so massive. Toyota has much better battery engineering than Hyundai, so I would go with the Toyota from a quality battery point of view.

Ffff Best gamer men says:

This looks cool but I wish Prius plus will be like that to

Master Fro says:

First off, the car does look better in person.

Anyway I’m looking through the comments trying to find just one person who actually talks about the car and not it’s design and at this point I think it’s impossible

BIG Al 24 says:

I test drove one and I kinda like it

zeeman su says:

worst design ever

krono says:

even more gay- Prius

shungangrockstar says:

it doesn’t matter if it’s fucking ugly, I admit, it is ugly but think of how much money you can save on this car… the gas.. and everything !! it’s not build for sports and will never look like one because it is just simply not a sports car -.- I would love to buy it

Jean Perez says:

I’m not gonna like, this prius looks pretty dope

damien Gagne says:

why can’t they make it look like that scion? Because they want you to drive a clown car if you want efficiency, same story year after year

I love your review! Always to the point, short, detail and positive! I think you are one of the best auto reviewer!

aman habibi says:

Looking really ugly

Richard Opiniano says:

That thing is hideous. *puke*

fleetingdays says:

Slightly lower, after 10 years with a Prius, I don’t need that! I traded in my 2010 Prius for a 2016 RAV4 XLE hybrid! I’m very happy with my decision. When gasoline goes up again, who knows. Sadly, where I live, I have to live in the winter months! Ground clearance is an important consideration. When you need new plastic parts for your under carriage on the Prius, these costs will add up! Frozen ice, snow plows, pot holes, and more; be very careful with your new Prius! I know. I’ve driven one for over 10 years! Now, they are slightly lower! Maybe you should drive a sports car in the winter. Still, I’ll always be a Prius guy! This is why I’m watching this great review! In Japan, they offered the 2016 Prius with i/e AWD. As an option, why didn’t they offer it elsewhere?

Roy Fan says:

Silvercity Riverport! Richmond BC !

Bruno Freitas says:

This back…. Soo ugly

corres78 says:

Is this the look after the 5 stars euro NCAP crashtest? Then it’s ok!

Lennox1492 says:

I prefer last generation model better for some reason.

TriColoredTiger says:

Great review.

Carl Vanderwiel says:

Crap car if you ask me, they make it seem better then it really is, I bet the fuel consumption will be higher than what they are portraying here. Beware!!!

B Charron says:

What is the trunk space like in this. I think you forgot to mention this part. Thanks!

stajpi says:

avag 26,2 l/100km?

Nibbler says:

I didn’t think the Prius could be uglier. but it is now.

X M a L i K X says:

so ugly preferred the look of the last prius , I don’t quite understand why the tried to make it more sporty ?

Fire Blade says:
