Had my 2011 Xtrail for a year/45000 miles building solar farms and its been brilliant, getting everywhere I need to go, averages 40mpg (and much better on motorway trip) loads of practical boot space and tows great. OK, its not a discovery but then it didn’t cost as much (or have such high service bills)I think that Nissan have really lost the plot with the new model as it now appears to be just another SUV, when the main benefit of the old model was its slight ruggedness and practicality. Personally now left wondering what to replace my old one with, probably Honda CRV or Outlander?

Slater nater says:

Get a CRV! There much better.

MrsTabby1963 says:

Hmm, I’ve got an 8 year old Adventura and I love it.  This new shaped model doesn’t have the same presence, and the boot is definitely smaller.  I will have to go along and try one out I think.

Ashley Steel says:

They have just renamed the Qashqai plus 2 and added a couple of Thousand ££’s to the price. I have a Qashqai plus 2 as a company car currently and its very good not sure my budget will stretch the the new x-trail.

NZsarge1 says:

It’s a lot more appealing than the previous X-Trail

BuildersM8 says:

Has totally lost its identity, now nothing more than a larger Qashqai. Nissan has missed an opportunity here, by reinventing the X-Trail as a Cross-over, the workmanlike image of the original has gone.

Michael Hay says:

excessive engine niose in the cabin when accelerating hard with the 2.5 cvt

mohammed sohaib Khan says:

Is this in car showroom’s yet?

F Ahmad says:

I can see the Qashqai resemblance 😀

James Cooling says:

Why would you ever put 7 adults in a car like this?

Michael Y. says:

Nissan Rogue!!

The Andy says:

Interior looks the same as the Qashqai

sue wood says:

Looks too much like the qashqai and uses the same engine and with no auto at launch it’s not a great proposition sadly.
