Peugeot 3008 2017 SUV i-Cockpit infotainment and interior review | Mat Watson Reviews

The Peugeot 3008 heads straight into one of the toughest classes in the market. It stands out from rivals like the Volkswagen Tiguan and SEAT Ateca thanks to a gorgeous cabin. The swoopy dash sports the bare minimum of buttons thanks to an eight-inch touchscreen which controls most of the car’s functions. But what is it like to use? Is it among the slickest on the market, or is it a touchscreen too far? Find out in my in-depth infotainment review.

Borislav Smilev says:

Does the Navigation option on the i-cockpit display work if you dont have the 3D Sat-Nav option on the car? Can the i-cockpit display your, say, Google-maps navigation from mirrorLink on the i-cockpit display?

CN Man says:

terriblly ugly front face

Vincenzo Russo says:

The silliest thing in this car is the A/C controls exclusively available through the touch screen. That’s just dumb. Everything else is very appealing.

Scott Brennan says:

There are some big gaps between the plastics on that dash and some alignment issues. Interior design is gorgeous, but the detail work looks a bit shoddy.

I am changing my BMW for a 3008 Allure. I didn’t even know it existed until Mat reviewed it and I was just taken aback by the interior/cockpit. I test drove a 3008 1.2 auto Allure and loved it. As a lifelong SciFi fan i find the dashboard/cockpit stunning. My BMW dashboard looks positvely mundane by comparison. I appreciate that BMW/Audi/Mercedes and Jaguar probably use better materials, but for me the 3008 dashboard/cockpit blows them all out of the water for style. I thought I would miss my BMW head up display but the i-Cockpit binnacle is so high up I realsied I won’t miss my HUD after all.

Just placed my order for 18 plate Allure. Really looking forward to it

youcef toun says:

As soon as this tech is put in the 308, specifically the GTI, i’m off down to the dealers to get one!

Vince Dae says:
